Introducing a beautiful new website for Caisley, Interior Design Studio

I am beyond excited to share a brand new project with you today.
For the past couple of months I've been working on a new website for English interior design studio, Caisley and I hope you'll agree, it's looking utterly glorious.
I've collaborated with some truly talented creatives to create a website for this globally renowned interiors practice that really does the calibre of their work justice and I cannot wait to see the impact this has for them.
We built on the brand identity created by the wonderful Caz Harrison, at Making Waves and photography has been created in collaboration with the supremely talented Cecelina Tornberg. It's been a real joy to work on.
Headed up by Founder and Creative Director Lauren Caisley, the studio is renowned for their layered, comfortable and refined style of classically English interiors. They work on beautiful period properties, bringing a sense of home, comfort and nostalgia to everything they work on, in Lauren's celebrated stylish and elegant aesthetic.
I wanted to create a digital home for them that combined that sense of presence and gravitas - to reflect the grand homes they work on across Europe, with the very understated and timeless aesthetic they create.
Here’s how it looked before…
The original Caisley website was perfectly nice - drawing on the beautiful brand identity Caz had created, but I could see we could do so much more with it! I wanted to bring that sense of atmosphere, that heart-thumping pull to the site and I knew that with the right vision, we could do that in spades.
As you'll see from the images, Caisley's work is full of light and shade. There's a gentleness to much of their work, and a classicism in evidence. This that is blended so beautifully with unexpected darker, moodier, more immersive spaces.
It's the juxtaposition of the sometimes light and calm, sometimes playful and unexpected, sometimes deep and dramatic spaces, that creates a true sense of delight and calm in the homes they design.
We wanted to encapsulate all of that and more.
INTRODUCING A MORE ATMOSPHERIC, EVOCATIVE SITE…
As you'll see from the images, Caisley's work is full of light and shade. There's a gentleness to much of their work, and a classicism in evidence. This that is blended so beautifully with unexpected darker, moodier, more immersive spaces.

Photography was key, and my wonderful friend and collaborator, Cecelina Tornberg and I set out to tell stories of home. Capturing not just striking, editorial-worthy interiors portraits, but intimate vignettes of what it feels like to live in a Caisley home.
Working across just two days, we captured a series of still and moving images both in the studio and on a client project. We also managed to create two brand films (view one below) and a series of social media clips that allow us to tell the story of the Caisley studio. The result, I hope you'll agree, is a breathtaking collection of work that allows you to really connect with the feeling of home, as well as the beauty of the aesthetic.
This project has been a real joy to work on, from start to finish. I'm so incredibly inspired by Lauren as a designer, a creative and a business owner and it's been a true delight to work on this project alongside her, her talented team and of course, the friends and collaborators this end.
Lauren trusted me completely to do the right thing by her work and her brand and it's been a joy, an honour and a delight. Drawing on all of my commercial, visual, evocative and strategic skills we've created a website that has a real sense of atmosphere and beauty. I have no doubt it's going to do extraordinary things for her business and I am so excited to see the results.
